I am a dedicated counselor licensed both in Massachusetts and in the state of Georgia practicing for over a decade. My approach entails understanding your areas of need, together we work on your goals or outcomes, resolve the goals and empower your resilience. I have endeavored to improve my art of counseling over the last decade. In treatment, my quest to improve is evident by the need to make sure I understand your areas of need, in order to help you resolve and empower you to actualize your goals.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During first session, after introduction, I will clarify if any question about therapy. If you have utilized therapy, we'll build on tools and strategies you have acquired. We'll explore on what brings you to therapy with an aim of creating a tailored plan for our upcoming sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strength is to listen and identify root cause. I not only help you resolve what is going on, but applies psychoeducation where you understand more about the mind as it relates to area of need, and strategies. I will then offer you support as you implement that understanding and strategies.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love to work with clients who are unsure where to start, but are willing to learn the process of change in their area of need. They are willing to put effort to actualize their goals. Also, those who have been self-improving but feels they need some accountability.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use acceptance and commitment therapy to help an individual accept their own experiences in order for them to take necessary actions in line with their values. This helps to build the muscle of living in the moment, in order to accept ones reactions, and be able to choose a valued direction in life.
