Mindfulness-Based Therapy

My mindfulness approach is practical and body-based, focused on helping you become more aware of how your thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations show up in real time. Rather than trying to “clear your mind,” we work on noticing what’s happening without immediately reacting to it. This builds the ability to pause, regulate, and respond more intentionally—especially in moments of stress, overwhelm, or reactivity. I often integrate mindfulness with breath, body awareness, restorative yoga, and Yoga Nidra to support nervous system regulation and deeper rest. The goal is to help you develop awareness that’s usable in daily life—so you can feel more grounded, clear, and in control of how you respond.

Mind-body approach

My mind-body approach focuses on the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and physical state. Stress, trauma, and overwhelm don’t just exist in the mind—they show up in the body through tension, fatigue, reactivity, and difficulty slowing down. We work on increasing awareness of these patterns while building skills to regulate your nervous system. This may include breathwork, body awareness, restorative yoga, and Yoga Nidra alongside practical, evidence-based strategies. The goal is to help you not just understand what’s happening, but shift how your body and mind respond—so you can feel more grounded, regulated, and able to function effectively in daily life.

Somatic

My somatic approach focuses on how your experiences are held in the body—not just in thoughts. We work on building awareness of these body-based patterns and learning how to regulate them. This might include noticing sensations, working with breath, slowing things down, and using practices like restorative yoga or Yoga Nidra to support the nervous system. The goal is to help you feel more connected to your body, reduce reactivity, and develop the ability to shift out of stress responses more effectively—so change isn’t just understood, but experienced.

Integrative

My integrative approach means I draw from multiple evidence-based and body-based methods to meet your specific needs, rather than using a one-size-fits-all model. I combine therapies like CBT, DBT, ACT, and CPT with mindfulness, somatic work, restorative yoga, and Yoga Nidra. This allows us to address both how you think and how your body responds to stress, helping you build practical skills that work in real life. The focus is on creating a flexible, personalized approach that fits how you function—while seeing you as a person, not a diagnosis. The goal is to support lasting change by working with the full picture: thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and the nervous system.
