I am Eddie L. Posadas, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California, license number LMFT 144220. Additionally, I am also trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and in Clinical Trauma Professional. My practice serves individuals across all age groups—from children to adolescents to adults—as well as couples, families, and groups.
If you are seeking a supportive environment for your personal growth and journey of self-discovery, my goal is to provide you with a safe environment where you can feel seen and valued as we navigate this process together.
I create a warm and genuine space for my clients to establish trust as they embark on their path to self-discovery. I employ a humanistic and existential approach, focusing particularly on addressing trauma.
Grounded in humanistic, existential, and systemic theoretical methods, I facilitate psychoeducation to illuminate how trauma impacts both the body and mind. My therapeutic approach is structured around a comprehensive four-phase model—establishing trust and rapport, delivering psychoeducation, fostering self-regulation skills, and processing traumatic memories—creating a secure holding space for clients to engage in their healing process.
I incorporate Eye Move Desensitization and Reprocessing in my practice as a way to process trauma. I am also trained in Somatic EMDR, focusing on both the body and mind.
