If you're struggling with depression, anxiety and trauma and feel like you can't crawl out of the dark, or like there is no hope, please reach out and let's work together to explore ways you can begin to live the life you want to live. I work with a variety of clients, from all different backgrounds, we can begin to explore options together for new ways to improve your overall wellness. I use a unique approach tailored to your personal needs, I believe in authenticity and transparency and I bring these values to the work I provide with my clients. I believe in client-centered work which focuses on each person’s unique strengths to improve overall optimal wellness.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session we will gather background information, review treatment goals and expectations for therapy as well as, dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

The feedback I receive from my clients is that they enjoy the fact I am proactive and care about their wellbeing, I am actively engaged in sessions and I provide direction in the therapy assignments I provide as well as, humor and relatability. My clients report that they feel supported and more positive after the initial session.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

With my compassionate and creative approach, I can help you to address symptoms of trauma, ADHD, anxiety and family conflict. I offer a non-judgmental, supportive and affirming environment, where each person can freely express themselves and begin their journey of self-healing.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use a creative approach to the evidence-based practices, engaging my clients in understanding the CBT relationship between thoughts, emotions and behaviors to initiate positive change to thwart the unhelpful thinking traps which keep client's stuck in a loop of behaviors that hold them back from achieving goals, moving forward and feeling more positive about themselves.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I engage clients in self awareness of feelings and thoughts to move through emotional situations and engage in more positive interactions with others, including setting healthy emotional boundaries for more balanced and positive relationships with themselves and with others. This creative approach aids my clients in achieving a more regulated emotional wellbeing.

Psychoanalytic

I use psychoanalytic therapy with a trauma-informed lens to help my clients explore and understand how their past experiences influence their current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I aid my clients in moving through their past experiences, crafting a new narrative and repairing their unhealed, fractured selves.
