Hello and welcome! I am Ashley Butt, LCSW, a licensed clinical social worker with many years of experience specializing in mental health assessment and treatment. Recognizing the profound bond between humans and animals, I have developed a unique expertise in assessing patients' needs for ESAs. My holistic approach draws from Attachment Theory and Ecological Systems Theory, emphasizing the importance of supportive relationships in fostering emotional healing. When indicated, I support the integration of Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) into therapeutic practice. Whether addressing anxiety, depression, or trauma, I am dedicated to supporting my clients in achieving a deeper understanding of themselves. When requested I will complete an assessment and explore the unique benefits that an ESA can bring to a persons' mental health journey. I am able to provide the necessary documentation for an individual in need of an ESA.
