I am a Bi-Lingual Spanish speaking Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Connecticut. I specialize in providing trauma based treatment for individuals who are struggling with anxiety and depression. I am passionate about creating a safe and welcoming space. It is my pleasure to listen, and work through your concerns together so that you may improve your quality of life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session we will get to know each other. You may share the specific concerns that has brought you to therapy, and I will ask for further background information. We will talk about the use of teletherapy and the platform. By the end of our initial session my hope is that we have set some initial goals for our time together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am kind, open and compassionate. I prioritize building a foundation of trust with my clients so that I may support them through the therapeutic process.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Clients who are ready to improve their quality of life. Life sometimes throws us some unpleasant situations whether it is sudden changes, illness, or death. We will work together so that you can be better equipped to manage these stressful moments in life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have utilized this approach in my practice for 9 years. CBT can be an effective evidence based practice that can help manage symptoms of anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues. Together we will take a closer look at your thoughts and emotions, and learn how to implement the tools necessary to respond to stress and difficult situations.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I maintain a person centered focus during treatment. I provide a safe, comfortable, non judgemental space for self exploration. I am here to help guide and support you.
