I bring empathy, insight, and clinical skills, to the therapeutic process. I help clients struggling with stress/anxiety, depression, relationship or family issues, life transitions, learning disabilities, career struggles, and grief. I interact with clients in their growth process by increasing awareness of the source of their distress, implementing new ways of thinking to positively affect their experiences and helping them learn healthier coping responses in their life. Seeking therapy is a courageous choice, and I will join you in this endeavor by using an integrative and interactive approach to help you gain insight into your processes and live a more enjoyable life.
The first session is focused on building therapeutic alliance and assessment of your therapeutic goals. We will explore your bio/psycho/social history and what has brought you to therapy. We address what you hope to get from your therapy experience. This session helps clarify the direction of the therapy work and best interventions to serve your needs.
I enjoy working with clients who actively engage in the therapeutic process. Through self-reflection and a willingness to change, I assist clients in taking personal responsibility for making choices that lead to mental health wellness goals.
I work with individual adult clients experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, grief, family issues, life transitions, ADHD and learning disabilities, spiritual exploration, personal growth, career issues, work life balance.
I work with clients from an integrative perspective, which means that I think globally to address all aspects of a person's life impacting stressors and functioning in the present moment.
