In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions and start building our therapeutic relationship. We'll go over some short paperwork and expectations, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored, collaborative plan for us to work on throughout our time together.

Believing in the power of humor and warmth, I incorporate these elements into my sessions, creating a positive and engaging atmosphere that encourages children to open up and embrace their strengths. This approach not only facilitates the therapeutic process but also helps children build confidence and resilience.

With extensive clinical experience, I have worked with clients facing trauma, emotional and/or behavioral difficulties. My empathetic approach centers on the whole person, using a cognitive behavioral framework to address problematic thoughts affecting emotions and behaviors. I provide personalized support in a safe space. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make their goals a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious, causing difficulties in their day-to-day lives. These can be due to underlying anxiety or stress or stressful life events, such as the loss of a loved one or major life changes.
