I have worked with a wide range of mental health realted issues and I am very passionate about the care that I provide to my clients and helping them through their journey in obtaining a more balanced life. My name is Madiane Perez. I have been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida since 2011. I also hold a Behavior Analysis Certification (BCBA) since 2015. I have worked with different populations in Miami, Florida for the last 14 years. In addition, I have clinical experience in more than one country and a multicultural approach. My educational background is in Clinical Psychology. Although most of my clinical research and experience has been with children and adolescents, I have experience with young adults and adults in general. I have extensively studied and work with anxiety, depression, weight and self-image issues, acculturation and other sensitive areas for adults. Due to my cultural background and life experiences, I am open and sensitive to multiple cultural and educational backgrounds. I have been working with minorities and emigrants in multicultural cities. I am also comfortable treating severe behavioral difficulties for children and adolescents such as ADHD, ODD, ASD and others due to my vast experience in ABA. I am able to combine multiple therapeutic approaches to better address clients' difficulties and help them reach their true potential.

Life can be stressful and challenging from time to time. Often we may feel we are not where we want to be in our careers, relationships, or family life. My career has spanned over 15 years with regard to working with clients suffering from both mental illness and substance abuse issues. I work with children, adults, and couples in a very nurturing and non-judgmental environment.
