Hi, I am a LCSW based in Pennsylvania. I received my masters degree from NYU in 2010. I help adults who want to improve there overall mental health and better management there symptoms. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support and empower you in that journey.
In our first session, we will start with brief introductions and work on building rapport. We will also discuss what brought them to therapy and begin developing goals.
Throughout the years, I feel like I am good at building rapport and creating a safe environment for individuals to help them reach there goals.
I love working with people who are reaching out for help and additional support. Some are more guarded than others but are willing to work together to learn and develop coping skills to help manage there symptoms.
I work with individuals to help identify and change negative thoughts, emotions, and behaviors by creating a non judgmental, safe environment. Building rapport is very important in this approach.
I incorporate DBT techniques and strategies based on the individual to give a client centered approach. I have done several dbt trainings and am dbt certified.
