Hello. First and foremost, I want to commend you on taking the first step towards self-care when it comes to mental health. There can be tons of emotions involved when starting therapy. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving the state of Texas and Michigan. I received my Masters from Michigan State University. I have over 10 years of experience and I enjoy helping those individuals who struggle with anxiety, stress, depression, and past traumas (to name a few) find some balance and provide some tools to find some balance in your life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, I like to take the opportunity to relieve the tension that therapy brings. I will give you some background about me and what our sessions could possibly look like. I will listen as you tell me what brings you to therapy and what you would like to accomplish. My goal is to build rapport, make sure you're comfortable and to make sure we're a fit for each other.

Not only am I a great listener, but I also provide the tools needed to help individuals overcome or cope with past experiences and produce internal growth. I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment that allows clients to explore obstacles with concerns related to anxiety, depression, and/or self-care. I focus on helping clients develop assertive communication & boundaries with themselves and those around them that can help improve their quality of life.

I have over 10+ years of working with a diverse population, including adolescents, adults, and families. The goal is to help anyone that's feeling stuck, dealing with a crisis or want to unpack some old baggage that they've been holding onto all while helping to build the life you so deserve.
