Hello there my name is Cindy, I typically adopt a direct and no-nonsense approach as a therapist. I want to work with individuals who are invested and open to being pushed beyond their comfort zones, who are seeking growth and change to improve the quality of life. I specialize in working with people experiencing a divorce, separation, loss, betrayal, a career change, a break up, a new move, retiring, and single parenting. I support individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression, loneliness, and exhaustion, as well as those struggling to achieve a healthy work-life balance while feeling overwhelmed by life’s pressures.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, I will be asking questions about what you are experiencing and the reason you are seeking therapy. The purpose of the first session is for information gathering and to explore what your expectations are in therapy. I will be asking questions about previous treatment, and the areas you want to focus on, confidentially, and the goals in we can focus on week to week. The first session is a time for you and I to figure out if we are a good match. I will be honest with you and let you know if an another therapist specialties are beneficial for you.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strength is building a rapport with you, providing support, and helping you figure out a starting date and a finish date with therapy. I will have patience and understanding to get to know you and meet you where you are when you come to therapy. The therapy is your work and my skills as a therapist can help you be healthier and happier. You will be able to reach me and expect and professional presence that is compassionate.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I specialize in working with women and men who are seeking meaning in life, have had a huge life upset that you were "not" ready for, or you are feeling lost, and you want a better work life balance, we can work on this. If you are experiencing a life transition, or you are not sure what direction to take in life, feel unhappy, or you wonder what's next for you, you're in the right place. It is really hard to be your best when you are being kept awake at night due to repetitive or intrusive thoughts! Feeling like you do not have choices is really hard, but life doesn't have to be this way. You "get" to lead your own life and I am honored to work with you as you take one step at a time on your journey.
