Hi, I’m Keshia Francis, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of Transformative Healing Counseling Services. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating trauma, co-occurring disorders, and mood disorders. My approach is eclectic, compassionate, and client-centered—rooted in the belief that healing is possible when you feel seen, supported, and empowered. Together, we’ll work toward growth, resilience, and a meaningful change.
In our first session, clients can expect a welcoming, judgment-free space where they’re invited to share at their own pace. We’ll focus on getting to know each other, exploring what brings you to therapy, and discussing your goals and hopes for the work ahead. I’ll ask questions to better understand your history, current challenges, and what support looks like for you. It’s important to me that you feel heard, respected, and empowered from the very beginning. This first conversation lays the foundation for a collaborative relationship built on trust, safety, and mutual understanding.
One of my greatest strengths as a provider is my ability to create a safe and affirming space where clients feel truly seen and heard. I bring a calm, grounded presence to the work, along with deep clinical knowledge and an eclectic approach that allows me to meet each person’s unique needs. I’m intuitive, compassionate, and committed to walking alongside my clients—not just as a therapist, but as a collaborative partner in their healing journey. I also value authenticity and transparency, which helps build trust and empowers clients to show up fully as themselves.
I’m best positioned to serve individuals who are ready to do the inner work of healing—even if they’re not sure where to begin. Many of my clients are navigating the effects of trauma, balancing the complexities of mental health and substance use, or seeking relief from anxiety, depression, or emotional overwhelm. They may feel stuck, exhausted, or disconnected—but they’re open to support and committed to change. I work best with clients who value a collaborative, compassionate approach and are willing to explore their experiences in a safe, nonjudgmental space. Together, we uncover strengths, build coping tools, and create a path toward lasting transformation.
In my practice, I take an eclectic approach, pulling from a range of evidence-based methods to best support each individual’s goals and lived experiences. This flexibility allows me to meet clients exactly where they are—whether they’re working through trauma, navigating co-occurring disorders, or building skills to manage everyday challenges. I integrate this method as part of a collaborative and strengths-based process that encourages healing, growth, and renewed self-awareness. It’s about honoring the whole person, empowering them to reconnect with their inner resilience, and helping them move forward with intention and confidence.
