My treatment methods

Christian Counseling

I use faith-based principles to help Clients process their symptoms and emotions. Clients often express their faith in God and/or embracing of the Holy Scriptures and I explore their faith and values and how they can impact and improves their lives and circumstances.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I've utilized CBT to help Clients explore their thinking by understanding how thoughts can impact feelings and behaviors, and how important it is to be mindful of what you are feeding yourself mentally because it may impact how you view yourself, your circumstances and others.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

With this modality, I help Clients identify inner parts (also referred to as past experiences), from childhood to adulthood, that may shape they way they behave or engage with others.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I help Clients learn how to be present in their present, by taking and making a moment to ground themselves.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

With this modality, I explore with Clients how to tolerate stressors in their lives by managing them, learn how to cope with challenges, and improve their relationships.
