I am a professional licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida with over 10 years of experience. I have experience working with many clients on a wide range of concerns, including stress, anxiety, trauma, abuse, motivation, self-esteem and confidence. I also have experience working with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders including post-partum depression. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started and taking that first step!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, obtain some background information and then dive into specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have been working in the mental health field for 10 years working with clients as it relates to depression, anxiety, trauma, anger, grief and other related diagnosis. Those who are committed to treatment make significant changes in their lives and I take pride in my ability and expertise to help others in areas of their lives they want to improve.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I am passionate about working with individuals who are experiencing different challenges in their lives. I love to assist clients with learning coping skills and giving suggestions on how to implement learned skills in their day to day lives to help become the best versions of themselves.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I’ve been using CBT in my practice for many years. It’s helped dozens of clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.
