I have a master’s degree in marriage and family counseling and a doctorate in psychology. With over 15 years of experience, my focus is helping individuals and couples understand themselves and use their own strengths to discover healing, even in the most difficult circumstances. I provide a non-judgmental space where clients can feel comfortable to work through challenges by exploring deep rooted patterns of hurt and disconnect, while developing new perspectives, learning new skills, and creating sustainable changes. I am a Seminary trained clinical therapist. I am also a combat veteran and have experience serving in ministry abroad. I have a prior career before becoming a therapist, working about 12 years overseas. I have worked successfully with adults from many backgrounds, cultures, ethnicities, sexual orientations, and religious faiths. I have experience working with clients struggling with a wide variety of mental health conditions and stressors including but not limited to trauma, depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.

I am a licensed mental health counselor with over 4 years of experience specializing in grief, trauma, and emotional regulation. As a first-generation immigrant, Queer Latina Canadian, I am dedicated to supporting and advocating for my community. I have extensive experience working with youth, the Latinx community, and LGBTQ+ individuals in both English and Spanish. My commitment to helping others, particularly in crisis situations, is driven by a deep-seated passion for service and empathy.

First of all I’m a veteran and retired from the US Army. I have been a therapist for 8 years and have experience working with multiple modalities and almost all diagnoses at some point. I am also a Reiki and do holistic healing. I want to help others whether it’s building self confidence or dealing with trauma nothing is too small or too big to be treated.
