I possess a bachelor’s in psychology, a master’s in Counselor Education, and an MBA that I obtained from Florida Atlantic University. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I have worked in the Child Welfare system with children and families for most of my career. However, I have also worked with the substance abuse population, sexually assaulted, and in the prison system throughout Dade and Broward Counties. I have assisted in the start-up of a female therapeutic group home in Broward County and a co-ed group home shelter in Dade County.
