Hi! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am licensed in Kentucky, Indiana, Kansas, Maine, Utah, and Nevada. I received my Masters from Western Kentucky University, and have bee practicing for 28 years. I help individuals, and couples to overcome "old programming", develop new and healing programming, and utilize places of self-empowerment. Increasing one's relationship with oneself, helps one to have greater relationships with others, and all other parts of life.

I have over 9 years of experience treating adults, teens, and adolescents for various mental health related issues. I utilize a positive psychology and motivational interviewing approach to working with clients in order to help them overcome barriers to treating their mental health. My goal is to help you work through your current struggles and help provide a roadmap for you to be able to do so in the future on your own. I don't want to feed you for the day, I want to teach you how to fish.

I believe in the power of growth , change and the ability to overcome. I have experience in working with substance abuse concerns, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, domestic violence and PTSD. I believe that we have God given tools to fight and move forward in our lives and truly heal from the hurts from our past and can build a future to look forward to. I am a licensed clinical social worker with 16 years of professional work experience. I am trained to work with multiple specialties; such as trauma/PTSD, anxiety, depression, communication, relationship problems, substance use disorders, confidence, work stress, sleep issues, and a lot more. I believe in constantly enhancing my clinical skills to accomplish my mission of helping as many people as I can to heal. I am trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, EMDR, DBT, Emotional Focused Couples Therapy, ADHD (adults only who have previously been diagnosed), Narcissistic Abuse and Personality disorders, and Internal Family Systems. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.
