Olawale is a board-certified nurse practitioner in psychiatry, providing medication management and prescription for mental illness. I received my Master of Science in Nursing, with a specialization in Family Medicine from Chamberlain University in Chicago, IL. After graduating, I worked in the outpatient clinic and insurance for years as a Family Nurse Practitioner provider. I later continued my education at Frontier University in Hyden, Kentucky for my post-master degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My experience in both medical and psychiatric care helped to develop a practice that integrates both medicine and mental health treatment approach. My clinical practice focuses on consultation, treatment selection and administration.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
I work with clients who may be struggling with depression or trauma related to their relationships or family. During our initial sessions, we will delve deeply into the issues at hand, and collaborate to create a plan for addressing them in a way that helps you get your life back. Most of my clients see a gradual lifting of symptoms within the first month and sustained improvement thereafter.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
My biggest strengths include, but not limited to, great communication skill, very knowledgeable, and attention to details.
