Hello, I am Berinda, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have nearly 20 years of experience in the field and have been providing individual therapy for 6 years. My goal is to support you in obtaining your goal, supporting and strengthening your desired outcome. My focus is trauma, marital counseling, anxiety, depression, grief, breakups, abandonment, and life stressors. My approach is person-centered, and I strongly focus on meeting a client where they are.
In our first session, the goal is to build rapport and actively listen to the reason you have decided to begin your therapeutic journey. We will begin where you would like to start, then we will continue to build on each session to develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs.
My greatest strength is my ability to listen and create plans based on your identified needs. I will support you even if you are uncertain on your desired outcome. I have been successful over the years, working with women, men and children. I have a holistic approach; that strives daily to increase your quality of living.
I work with adults who are navigating the challenges of trauma, anxiety, depression, marital crisis, grief, relationship trauma, and rejection, particularly those struggling with finding their purpose, self-esteem, abandonment, and rejection. Many of my clients also deal with emotional aspects like rejection sensitivity and childhood trauma. I’m passionate about helping individuals who feel overwhelmed or stuck, and I aim to provide them with strategies that not only improve daily functioning but also address their emotional and mental health needs.
