About me

Hi! I am a License Professional Counselor and Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner. I received my Master’s degree from the University of Nebraska Omaha and have been practicing for 5 years. During my career I have worked in many capacities to include crisis response, private practice, child welfare, positive parenting groups, and provided cultural competency trainings. I help adolescents and adults who are struggling with anxiety, life transitions, parenting, grief, and many other common life complexities.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we’ll start with brief introductions and get to know each other. Then we will discuss your hopes with the counseling process and begin to brainstorm what we will need for the process to be exactly what you need it to be.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Having worked in this field for 5 years and spent the 12 years prior in human services, I have a incredibly unique and eclectic approach to treatment. I pull from many schools of thought and am passionate about educating myself to better advocate and understand my clients to the best of my ability. I find the most successful therapeutic relationships are the most transparent!

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with clients of all ages who present with a host of complexities. My clients often know who they are and what they want from life, but feel stuck and are having difficulty “getting there.”

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I offer a comfortable, non-assuming space to sort through any of life's complexities you or your family is experiencing. I work with teens and adults who present with many concerns with the commitment of meeting each of my client's where they are at as they begin their therapeutic journey.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I assist my clients in identifying patterns of thinking that, while once served a purpose, may now be hindering their connection to themselves or the world. My goal is to remove any barriers to my clients developing the life that they want and love!
