About me

I’m a Licensed Certified Social Worker–Clinical. I am coming to you with 6 years of experience in the field. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and truly heard. Therapy with me is real, down-to-earth, and focused on what matters most to you. I offer affirming, culturally responsive care because your story, your background, and your experiences deserve to be fully seen and respected.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session with me is all about creating a safe and comfortable space where you can share your story at your own pace. I’ll start by introducing myself, explaining how therapy works, and going over confidentiality so you know what to expect moving forward. We’ll then talk about what brought you to therapy, your current challenges, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I’ll ask questions to better understand your background, strengths, and needs.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strength is the ability to create a compassionate, judgment-free space while guiding clients toward meaningful change with practical tools and strategies.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with teens and adults who are ready to find relief from anxiety, depression, and life’s overwhelming challenges. Whether you’re navigating a major life change, feeling stuck in unhelpful patterns, or simply want to improve your emotional well-being, I’m here to walk alongside you as you create the life you want. I believe therapy works best when it’s collaborative. That means we’ll work together to understand your unique experiences, build on your strengths, and develop practical strategies you can use in daily life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In our sessions, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, or CBT. That means we look at how your thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected. Sometimes, unhelpful thoughts can make us feel worse or lead to patterns that aren’t helping us.

Strength-Based

I also use a strengths-based approach. That means instead of focusing only on what’s wrong or what’s hard, we look at what’s already strong in you—your skills, values, relationships, and past successes. We build on those strengths to help you work through challenges and reach your goals. It’s about recognizing you already have tools inside you, and learning how to use them more effectively.
