Rapport building is always my first step in therapy. I want to ensure clients truly understand that my passion is to help and have empathy. I want to ensure everyone is comfortable with deeply opening up. I believe in not pushing my clients to do what I suggest. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I am here to support & empower everyone that I serve. I often receive confirmation of this.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach to therapy includes being open minded. I truly believe empowering individuals to overcome trouble/ challenges will assist them overall. I ensure to be direct and encourage individuals. I challenge individuals to address their issues and learn/use coping mechanisms that will assist them with overcoming. I ensure to provide my clients with a vast amount of ways to cope. I often have clients vent about how freely they feel with venting their true feelings, inner struggles, etc.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

With the use of CBT, I assist clients with identifying issues, addressing the issues, and learning coping strategies to manage the troubles that they face. CBT also allows me to assist you by ensuring you are aware of ways to process and connect your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. CBT skills include things such as: cognitive restructuring, guided imagery, thought processing, journaling, relaxation, and behavioral alterations. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
