*Currently not taking couples** I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in California. I received my master’s degree at Pacific Oaks College with a specialization in Trauma and I have been practicing for over 7 years. I help people by providing them with coping skills when they are overwhelmed, assist them with building a “life worth living”, and help them with working through every day life stressors including: work, relationships, family difficulties.
In our first session together, we’ll start with a brief introduction, and then focus on some of the challenges that you are facing. We will talk about how things are going and then create a plan on what you would like to achieve. This will assist me with creating a unique and tailored treatment plan that will address your challenges and work through follow up session.
Having worked with a diverse population for over 9 years has helped me with developing many different modalities and skills to help you with achieving the life that you desire. We will help you with identifying some of the barriers to your successes and then create effective ways of processing the difficulties as they arise in order to help you feel like you are making progress.
I’m passionate about working with individuals who are navigating anxiety and/or depression—those who are doing their best to manage overwhelming emotions but feel like they just don’t have the right tools to truly move forward. Many of the people I work with feel stuck, exhausted, and hopeless, despite their efforts to feel better. They might be showing up for their responsibilities, supporting others, or trying to stay positive—but inside, it often feels like they’re barely holding it together. In our work together, I create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can begin to unpack what’s really going on beneath the surface. We focus on understanding your emotional patterns, building tools that actually work for you, and reconnecting with your inner resilience. Healing isn’t about ‘fixing’ yourself—it’s about learning to be with yourself in a new way, one that’s grounded in compassion, clarity, and hope.

I came to Marco in the middle of a pretty rough time, and also having just been passed from therapist to therapist due to how insurance works. So I came in feeling like "I really need help, but also now I have to start over with someone new?!" He's been great. I feel quite safe with him already, and have nothing but positive things to say. He's compassionate, helps me understand my frustrating brain, helps me w/ strategies to try for handling life, all that. Absolutely would recommend Marco :)

I wasn't sure how our first session would go since I've not had therapy for a long time, but Marco really put me at ease and understood my situation well! He was really kind and considerate and also gave me good insight into my problems and even gave me technical terms I could use to learn more about my situation! I really enjoyed working with him and he has been my favorite therapist so far :)

Marco has helped me start to make sense of things that I have felt since childhood. He is great at guiding self reflection without judgment and helping to see all sides of a situation. He is warm, kind and knowledgable.
