Hi! I'm a licensed professional counselor (LPC) currently offering telehealth counseling services for clients located in Pennsylvania, Delaware, or Idaho. I received my master's from Lehigh University and have been practicing for more than 7 years. My professional experience extends to a variety of treatment settings and methods, addressing a broad set of problems or issues from mood disorders and personality disorders to relationship issues and communication problems.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
My experience extends to specialized areas such as addiction issues, trauma counseling, motivational interviewing, and empowerment counseling. I've worked extensively with diverse communities in various settings, advocating not only for improved access to mental health care but also for more culturally competent and culturally responsive services. This combined professional experience has helped me develop the skills necessary to facilitate growth and change in ways that are most meaningful for clients.
I take pride in my ability to create a safe and understanding environment for clients. Whether clients are dealing with interpersonal problems, emotion regulation difficulties, or a challenging transition, I'm happy to help them start or continue their journeys to wellness.
Treatment is primarily driven by a client's goals for therapy. Beyond that, I use a feminist-psychodynamic treatment which translates to a person-in-context approach. Essentially, I draw from a client's development and lived experiences (both past and present) to guide my understanding of what might be most useful for therapeutic interventions.
