About me

As a licensed mental health counselor in Florida I have over 14 years of experience. I have treated clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, career challenges, PTSD and ADHD. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe Therapy doesn’t have to be difficult, and difficult doesn’t mean impossible. This philosophy has led me to helping clients aspire to create their own destiny and to manufacture the change they desire. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic counseling. I will tailor your treatment to meet your unique and specific needs. If you are hoping to connect with a caring compassionate therapist one who Challenges, validates, and normalizes your concerns you are in the right place.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

"During our first session, you can expect me to come prepared, having reviewed the documents you’ve submitted. However, I will also ask thoughtful, clarifying questions to gain a deeper understanding of your unique experiences and needs. This collaborative approach ensures that I can tailor our work together from the very beginning, setting the foundation for effective and meaningful treatment that aligns with your goals."

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

"I am deeply passionate about helping individuals navigate challenges related to depression, anxiety, and trauma. My therapeutic approach is grounded in cognitive and behavioral theories, which I find highly effective in promoting meaningful change. Additionally, I incorporate skills from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients build emotional resilience, develop healthy coping strategies, and create a more balanced and fulfilling life

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Clients who align with my therapeutic ideals and expertise are those who approach the process with an open mind and a willingness to engage in self-discovery and growth. I work best with individuals who are eager to begin their healing journey, even if they feel uncertain or vulnerable at the start. I value clients who are willing to collaborate, explore new perspectives, and actively participate in their own progress, as this creates a strong foundation for meaningful change.
