New to Grow

VirtualAvailable

I am a clinician who is dedicated to providing compassionate and effective care to diverse populations. I challenge clients to consider new perspectives that encourage introspection and promote personal growth. It is important that I meet my clients with an outlook of empathy, curiosity, and cultural competence, while cultivating an atmosphere of advocacy, collaboration, and empowerment. I am also a huge proponent of incorporating mindfulness, movement and nature into therapy to enhance the connection between the mind and body and our environment. My intention is to motivate you to achieve your goals and support you in discovering and loving your authentic self.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I want our first session to be casual and comfortable. This therapeutic relationship should be built on trust, collaboration, and direct communication. It may be challenging, but also constructive. Show up with an open-minded attitude and willingness to learn about yourself.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach is eclectic and holistic. Treatment methods are personalized to the individual and involve strengths-based, trauma-informed interventions, which gravitate toward elements of positive psychology and mindfulness.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I align best with clients who are willing to come to sessions with a sense of curiosity and openness to self-reflection. Topics we may explore together: • Anxiety • Depression • Trauma • Suicidal Ideation • Grief • Addiction • Impacts of brain injury or cognitive impairment • Gender and/or Sexual Identity • Life Transitions • Social Justice • Mental Health Disorders • Interpersonal Relations • Self-actualization

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a structured, action-oriented form of psychotherapy that helps individuals manage problems by identifying and changing unhelpful thinking patterns, emotions, and behaviors.

Couples Counseling

Couples counseling is a form of psychotherapy designed to help partners improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen their relationship in a supportive, structured setting.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness-Based Therapy is a form of psychotherapy that integrates mindfulness techniques—present-moment awareness, meditation, and non-judgmental acceptance—with cognitive behavioral strategies. It helps individuals manage anxiety, depression, and stress by breaking negative thought patterns and changing their relationship with difficult emotions, focusing on observing them without judgment.

Strength-Based

Strengths-based therapy is a positive, collaborative approach that focuses on an individual’s inherent strengths, resilience, and personal resources, rather than focusing solely on deficits or problems. By highlighting strengths and past successes, it helps clients build self-confidence and coping skills to overcome challenges like anxiety, depression, and trauma.

Trauma Informed Care

Trauma-informed care is a person-centered framework that recognizes the widespread impact of trauma and understands paths for recovery. It aims to create physical and emotional safety, build trust, and empower individuals while avoiding re-traumatization.
