About me

I want to hear your story—I believe that healing starts with being truly seen and heard. As a licensed clinical therapist, I offer a compassionate, affirming, and honest space where your journey is honored and your voice is central. By utilizing client-centered, relational, and strengths-based approaches we can work together to explore your lived experiences and develop personalized goals. The focus is on creating a place where you can feel safe, understood, and empowered to heal at your own pace; giving you the support and practical tools to manage your health, safety, and overall well-being. In our work together, I’ll listen attentively to your story and support you in building strength and resilience. I believe therapy should be where you can bring your authentic self, where healing isn’t just about “fixing” things but about understanding and reclaiming that sense of self. I am here to support you, with care, understanding, and a belief in your ability to share your story and create positive change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, discuss what brought you to therapy/what you are hoping for, what are the priorities in this space for you, and answer initial questions. Additionally, we will review the intake paperwork, consent/ privacy, and how we will connect on the platform. This will help me create a personalized plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions and best support you moving forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Both my personal and professional experiences have shaped my deep belief in the power of resilience and recovery, as well as an understanding of the psychological, neurological, and social complexities of trauma and recovery. I have experience working with both children and adults, as well as engaging with the family as a whole. My strong belief in the use of harm reduction and liberatory practices is rooted in both culturally and trauma-responsive care. In our work together, I’ll listen to your story, assist in expanding support network/coping skills (including safety planning if needed), provide psychoeducation, and encourage you in building strength and acknowledging resilience.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I specialize in supporting clients build self confidence/compassion, recovery (trauma, mental health, addiction), those who have a dual diagnosis, individuals that are exploring their identity, those with challenges in navigating transitions (especially reentry/immigration/loss), interpersonal communication/family conflict, PTSD, survivors of crime/human trafficking, and those with chronic health concerns. Over the age of 12, I have clinically worked with clients of all ages and have further experience working with families as well.

My treatment methods

Integrative

There is no one way a therapeutic space should look; it is an individual experience and you are at the forefront of creating the therapeutic space. This foundation has led to my belief in an integrative approach because everyone has different needs, goals, and identities. We will work together to identify skills/interventions that work best for you and your life.

Strength-Based

By utilizing client-centered, relational, and strengths-based approaches we can work together to explore your lived experiences, identify strengths, and develop personalized goals. You bring your own strengths to a therapy space and I want to hear what you know them to be and explore others to help you move forward.

Gender-affirming therapy

I offer a compassionate, affirming, and honest space where your journey is honored and your voice is central. Therapy should always be a place where one feels as though they can be their authentic self— a place where you can feel safe, understood, and empowered to heal at your own pace. How you identify and the way you feel most like yourself will always be honored in this space.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

Healing begins with being truly seen and heard. Our origins and experiences deeply shape who we are; they are imperative aspects of our being. This space is about you and your story.

Trauma Informed Care

I offer a trauma responsive approach to better support those with past/ongoing trauma and to acknowledge the way this impacts one’s ability to move through the world. Both my personal and professional experience has shaped my deep belief in the power of resilience and recovery, as well as an understanding of the psychological, neurological, and social complexities of trauma and recovery.
