My name is Ashley Connolly and I am a licensed professional with over 15 years of experience treating a wife variety of mental health issues. I work collaboratively to help you become aware of your strengths and start finding solutions that will enhance your life. I believe within each of us lies the solution to any life challenge, and it is my role to help you uncover your innate wisdom and inner strength to heal. My style of therapy can be described as compassionate collaborative, holistic and directive. We will work together to develop your goals for therapy, and my approach will be tailored to your specific situation and personality. You can heal your life and I am here to help! I received my BS from Northwestern Universty and my graduate degree from Loyola University. In addition to my years in private practice, I have worked as an addictions, grief, DV, career and crisis counselor. I also am in long term recovery and offer an intensive therapeutic sober coaching program.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

My first session is a warm, safe confidentia space to begin the process of building a therapeutic relationship. The efficacy of therapy is dependent on the strength of our relationship so my goal is to build trust and rapport in the first session.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I treat all of my client relationships as the real authentic relationships that they are. I show up as a compassionate helpful healer, not just a didactic expert. I bring warmth and empathy to hold space for whatever emotions and issues that need to be addressed.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am ideally situated to work with clients dealing with life transitions issues and issues related to substance dependency. This client will be open to growth and change and to look at their role in perpetuating patterns in their life. I specialize in working with individuals who are looking to re-evaluate their relationship with substances in their life and/or who are dealing with any other form of behavioral addiction.
