Hi!, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Maryland. I received my Masters from Howard University in Washington DC and have been practicing for the last 13 years. I help people struggling with life issues cope and overcome their struggles and continue to function as best as they can.
In our first session clients can expect to meet a warm, open and non-judgmental person on the other side that will listen to their expectations and give an honest assessment of whether I am best positioned to partner with them in their journey to manage, cope and find solutions.
Having worked with a lot of clients over the years, I have come to believe that most people have the solutions to the issues of living they are confronted with. My strength is my ability to help you come up with the solutions through active listening and guidance.
I love to work with clients particularly from young adults to the elderly who are struggling with managing issues of living that create anxiety, depression and other stresses.
Extensive experience using CBT to help clients recognize thoughts and feelings that impacts their behaviors and happiness.
