Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During your first session with Tracy, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where you can share at your own pace. She focuses on getting to know your background, current concerns, and what brought you to therapy, while helping you feel comfortable and supported. Tracy will also work with you to begin identifying goals and what you hope to gain from the process. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, and together you’ll start building a plan that feels right for you. Her goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and at ease from the very beginning.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Tracy’s greatest strengths include creating a safe, nonjudgmental space, building strong therapeutic relationships, and helping clients gain insight, develop practical skills, and make meaningful, lasting changes in their lives.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Tracy is best positioned to support adolescents and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Many of her clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, or unsure how to move forward. Some are managing ongoing stress, relationship challenges, or the lasting impact of past experiences, while others may appear high-functioning on the outside but feel exhausted or disconnected internally. Tracy works especially well with clients who are open to self-reflection and motivated to better understand themselves, even if they are unsure where to begin. She helps clients make sense of their thoughts, emotions, and patterns, while also focusing on building practical skills that can be applied in everyday life. Her approach is a good fit for clients who want more than just a space to talk—they are looking for support, guidance, and tools to help them create meaningful, lasting change. Tracy values a collaborative relationship and works alongside clients to set realistic goals, build resilience, and move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and emotional balance.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Tracy uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. She works collaboratively with clients to identify unhelpful patterns, challenge negative thinking, and develop practical coping strategies that support lasting, meaningful change.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Tracy incorporates mindfulness-based techniques to help clients become more aware of their thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations in the present moment. She supports clients in developing grounding skills, reducing stress, and responding to challenges with greater calm, clarity, and intention.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Tracy uses Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients identify strengths, clarify goals, and focus on practical solutions. She works collaboratively to build on what is already working, helping clients make meaningful progress and create positive, lasting change.

Trauma-Focused CBT

As a certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Tracy uses TFCBT to support clients in processing difficult experiences in a safe and structured way. She helps clients build coping skills, manage distress, and gradually work through trauma while fostering resilience, emotional regulation, and a greater sense of safety and control.
