About me

Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor based in Maryland. I received my Masters from Loyola University Maryland and have been practicing for 12 years. I help adolescents, young adults, and millennials understand and analyze their behaviors, thoughts, and feelings in order to ease anxiety and stay grounded. I like to help clients gain coping skills in order to overcome obstacles, problem solve, and reach full potential.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have used CBT with my clients for over a decade. We will use CBT to help identify and change destructive thought patterns that have a negative influence on your emotions and behavior. Through CBT your negative thoughts will be identified, challenged, and replaced with more objective, grounded thoughts to ease anxiety, depression, and stress. CBT will help you realize that your thoughts and feelings are connected and influence each other.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

SFBT is a great treatment for anyone, but as a School Counselor and an LCPC, I use this treatment method more often with adolescents and young adults. Through SFBT we will focus on solution-building and concentrate on your current circumstances and future hopes while building a plan to get there.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

As a certified yoga instructor, I am very passionate about Mindfulness-Based Therapy. We will infuse mindfulness, meditation, and journaling into our sessions to promote a calmer mind and body.
