About me

Hello. I am a licensed psychotherapist with over 18 years of experience. I am passionate about helping my clients feel comfortable as well as processing their specific concerns. My specialty is trauma along with associated symptoms. I am trained to work with clients who are also experiencing symptoms stemming from grief, life transitions, ADHD, depression and anxiety. I feel that the relationship between client and therapist is the most important part along this journey.

My treatment methods

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

IFS treatment methods include insight development into complex, painful and confusing symptoms related to trauma of any type to understandable and relatable explanations and treatment. Unlike other types of treatment for trauma this is one of the most effective treatments and evidenced based method.

Trauma-Focused CBT

In this type of therapy utilization of cognitions and the relation to behaviors focuses on how trauma has intertwined into the psyche. This is another approach that adds to the effectiveness and understanding of personal experiences.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is an effective tool or addition to most all types of treatments. It relies on understanding how cognitions effect thoughts and thoughts effect behaviors. This is an effective tool to understanding how and why we think what we do.
