About me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over seven years of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges. My approach to therapy focuses on helping clients gain meaningful insight into their thoughts and emotions, while also developing practical skills to navigate stress, improve relationships, and foster personal growth. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make positive changes in their lives.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll begin with introductions and an overview of the therapeutic process so you know what to expect. I’ll gather some background information to better understand your unique experiences, and I’ll invite you to share any questions you may have. A key part of this first meeting is clarifying your goals, strengths, and values, which will help us create a meaningful direction for our work together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My strengths as a therapist include a compassionate, person-centered approach that meets clients where they are and honors their unique experiences. I work to create a nonjudgmental, supportive space where clients feel safe to explore challenges and discover new perspectives. By combining insight-oriented exploration with practical strategies, I help clients build on their strengths and take meaningful steps toward the changes they want to see in their lives.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I primarily work with adults and adolescents ages 13 and up. My ideal clients are those who feel ready for change in their lives but may be uncertain about which steps to take or how to begin. Whether navigating life transitions, managing stress, or addressing deeper emotional patterns, I help clients clarify their goals and build the confidence and tools they need to move forward.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

In my practice, I often use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients develop greater psychological flexibility—the ability to stay present, adapt to life’s challenges, and live in alignment with their values, even in the face of difficult thoughts or feelings. Through mindfulness strategies, values exploration, and committed action, I support clients in creating a more meaningful and purposeful life.

Psychodynamic

I incorporate psychodynamic therapy as an insight-oriented approach, helping clients explore how past experiences, relationships, and unconscious patterns influence their current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By fostering greater self-awareness, this process empowers clients to understand themselves more deeply, break free from unhelpful cycles, and create lasting change in their lives.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns and core beliefs that may be contributing to emotional distress or unwanted behaviors. Together, we develop practical strategies and coping skills that promote healthier thinking, more balanced emotions, and positive, lasting change.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy to help clients explore and understand the different “parts” of themselves—each with its own feelings, beliefs, and needs. By fostering curiosity and compassion toward these parts, clients can heal inner wounds, reduce internal conflict, and strengthen their connection to their core Self, leading to greater harmony and well-being.
