Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The initial session is conducted in a welcoming, collaborative environment with an emphasis on establishing therapeutic rapport. This meeting serves as an opportunity to gather a comprehensive understanding of the client’s history, presenting concerns, and treatment goals. Discussion will include prior counseling experiences and their influence on current expectations. Additionally, I will assess key domains of daily functioning—such as sleep patterns, nutritional habits, occupational or academic engagement—and explore current psychological symptoms. This session is intended to establish a foundation for a personalized treatment plan that supports meaningful progress and overall well-being.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I prioritize the development of a strong therapeutic alliance through active listening and a thorough understanding of each client’s expectations for the counseling process. My clinical approach emphasizes collaborative goal-setting and the implementation of individualized, evidence-based interventions designed to support meaningful progress and enhance psychological well-being.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am dedicated to supporting individuals seeking to reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression, improve attentional capacity and auditory processing, regulate emotional responses such as anger, and deepen their understanding of neurodivergent experiences, including those associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I also provide therapeutic interventions for individuals managing behavioral challenges, with an emphasis on promoting adaptive functioning, personal development, and emotional well-being.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have integrated Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into my clinical practice for many years, utilizing its evidence-based framework to assist clients in identifying and restructuring maladaptive thought patterns while enhancing emotional regulation. CBT facilitates exploration of the dynamic interplay between cognition, affect, and behavior, empowering individuals to implement adaptive coping strategies and achieve measurable therapeutic outcomes.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I adhere to a client-centered, person-centered therapeutic framework that allows treatment to evolve in alignment with each individual’s unique needs and goals. This approach supports the integration of additional evidence-based modalities as clinically indicated, ensuring a personalized and responsive therapeutic experience.
