Hi my name is Elizabeth and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in the state of Florida and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Kansas. I earned a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Mid America Nazarene University with 15 years experience working with children, adolescents and adults. I am holistic in my approach adhering to the Adlerian theory of beliefs. I love to see people heal from trauma, gain clarity, increase confidence, improve their relationships and be the healthiest, happiest version of themselves, living their best life!
In our first session, I aim to create a space where you feel comfortable, heard and understood. We'll focus on what brings you to therapy and explore your hopes and goals for our work together. I'll ask some questions to better understand your background, experiences and what you're currently going through, but we'll move at a pace that feels right for you.
My strengths specific to counseling: Empathic; encouraging; extraordinary active listening skills; insightful; recognition of patterns and a myriad of life experiences thus enabling me to relate to a diversity of circumstances and people.

Holistic in my approach, I use several different approaches including CBT, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Solution Focused, Faith/Christian Counseling (when applicable), Supportive Reflection, Mindfulness and Somatic Therapy. I am also a certified Yoga instructor.
