My goal is to work with clients to bring about lasting change through creating experiences that help change their perspective on their life stories. I use brain science to optimize the impact on the healing process. I work to build connection with my clients in order to teach them how to build connection with others and to use the tools they have to find healing in their own lives.
The first session will be a time to go over any missing paperwork and questions you may have. Then, it will be a conversation about what needs brought you in and me gaining an understanding of the problem you have and what you need from me.
I enjoy engaging with my clients, and I enjoy encouraging them to continue working to be better for themselves, their families, and their communities. I will use whatever means I have to bring about lasting change and help my client's reach their goals. I want to help, and I believe that you can find healing as I have.
I work best with clients that desire to learn how to build relationships and how to overcome habitual struggles with emotions or addictions.
Faith has been an integral part of my own healing journey, and therefore the basic principles of forgiveness, purpose, and truth are foundational to everything in my practice.
I have been trained in CBT and have used it to help others for over 5 years. It is used to identify unhelpful thoughts and establish healthy physical and mental habits to being to change those thoughts.
