Her holistic approach focuses on addressing the diverse issues her client’s face. Throughout her career, Monifa has dedicated herself to working with individuals in various challenging settings, including the correction system foster system, hospice and hospitals. Her expertise lies in helping clients with alcohol and substance issues, issues, parenting challenges and eating disorder treatment.
The first session is a good to know you session and assessments will be completed. You will provide information about yourself and your goals for therapy and at the end of the session we will determine the frequency of the sessions as well as the best times that work for both of us
I meet clients where they are and allow the client to take the lead in their pursuit of their goals. I am a caring, compassionate, and understanding therapist who understands that recovery is not linear.
The clients range from adolescence to senior adult adults who struggle with managing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, family, dysfunction, and eating disorders.
