Hi, I’m Cheryl Gomez, LICSW, a licensed clinical social worker based in Alabama. I bring six years of experience in the social work field, including the past three in clinical practice. I specialize in helping adults (19+) navigate emotionally complex experiences—divorce, loss, trauma, addiction, and major life transitions. I also support those managing co-occurring concerns like depression, anxiety, and addiction. My work centers on reconnecting with your resilience, uncovering clarity, and cultivating meaningful change. I believe you're the expert of your story and have the strength to heal. Therapy isn’t about fixing you—it’s about honoring your journey and building insight, tools, and perspective. I use a personalized, strengths-based approach rooted in ACT, CBT, and motivational interviewing to support lasting change.
