Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

At our first session, we will review your current situation and start building a professional relationship. We will identify needs and start working on potential goals. Throughout the session and in future sessions, I will meet you in a supportive and empathetic manner.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am a human first and a therapist second. I believe in being kind and supportive when helping people through challenging times in their lives. I will listen to you, guide you, provide skills, and encourage you to become the best version of yourself in a safe, nonjudgmental environment.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Although I have worked with children, adolescents, teens, young adults, and adults in my career, I have an interest in working with all age of adults. I am interested in working with adults who are seeking help in navigating obstacles in their lives. I partner with the individuals or couples to set goals and work together with them to achieve their goals in a supportive, skill building environment.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT skills to help the client to identify how their thoughts and beliefs affect their feelings and behavior. Clients are then taught coping skills that they can apply to their lives to help them gain back control of their lives.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

There are ACT skills that are utilized in combination with CBT skills to help the client learn how to accept their thoughts and feelings without trying to avoid them. The client is taught skills to accept and become empowered to move forward in their lives.

Grief Therapy

Clients suffering a loss are assisted with multiple skills and techniques to help them cope with loss and to work through the grief process.
