Hello! I am Alana and I am a licensed master social worker. I have been working for the past 6+ years in multiple different settings. Currently I work in a school as a school social worker with children ages 3-12. I have also worked in a community mental health that I served multiple populations. I look forward to working with more people and assisting them with their goals.
Clients will be able to ask questions to see if we would be a good fit together. You have to find that person in order to make the progress that you want. We will go over goals and what is expected for you as the client and what I have to offer for you. It is about working together and not me telling you what do to.
I very much see the strengths in people and the positive outcomes that can be. There might be some detours on their path, but that makes their stores unique.
I love working with a variety of people. From children who struggle with their emotions and self esteem to adults dealing with daily life. Also everything in between.
MI is used to assist the client to get where they want to go and find ways to achieve this.
