Hello! My name is Rachel Nguyen, LMHC. I am a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida. I have 12 years of experience. My specialties exist in treating individuals who have unprocessed trauma or PTSD, anxiety, depression, OCD, Autism/ADHD/Sensory processing disorder or "neurodivergent" individuals. I use CBT, DBT and solution focused therapies to best meet my clients mental health treatment goals. Research shows that these approaches work for most mental health conditions. I also utilize behavioral therapy and accommodations for Autism and ADHD. I have 12 years of experience working in the mental health and behavioral health field. I have a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a second Masters degree in Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis. I have worked in inpatient, outpatient, school, home, crisis and private practice facilities. I have experience working with a large spectrum of people with various mental health and developmental conditions or disorders. I have experience working with children, adults, families and couples. Currently I work solely with adults (18 and over). This treatment method helps people rewire their brain and learn to feel safe in the present moment even when talking or thinking about their trauma. This approach helps client live a life that feels safer than the one they lived before.
