About me

Hello! My name is Rachel Nguyen, LMHC. I am a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida. I have 12 years of experience. My specialties exist in treating individuals who have unprocessed trauma or PTSD, anxiety, depression, OCD, Autism/ADHD/Sensory processing disorder or "neurodivergent" individuals. I use CBT, DBT and solution focused therapies to best meet my clients mental health treatment goals. Research shows that these approaches work for most mental health conditions. I also utilize behavioral therapy and accommodations for Autism and ADHD. I have 12 years of experience working in the mental health and behavioral health field. I have a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a second Masters degree in Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis. I have worked in inpatient, outpatient, school, home, crisis and private practice facilities. I have experience working with a large spectrum of people with various mental health and developmental conditions or disorders. I have experience working with children, adults, families and couples. Currently I work solely with adults (18 and over).
