About me

I am a California Indigenous (Ohlone) and third generation Mexican- and Sicilian-American Psychotherapist in the San Francisco Bay Area, currently providing therapeutic services online. I specialize in supporting teens and adults that are struggling with issues of anxiety and depression, grief, low self-esteem, negative thinking, self criticism, difficulties with life transitions and postpartum and women's issues. I work with individuals who may be struggling with depression, anxiety or grief.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our initial sessions, we will delve deeply into the issues at hand, and collaborate to create a plan for addressing them in a way that begins to seed change and relief from present symptoms. Most of my clients see a gradual lifting of symptoms within the first couple months and sustained improvement thereafter.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I enjoy supporting older teens, young professionals, women and adults in their journey to mending their relationship with themselves and with others while building on their fundamental mental and emotional strengths when facing adversity. Kindly reach out to begin your healing journey.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

As your holistic therapist, I will provide compassionate and meaning psychotherapy. I yield a safe, judgment-free space where you will feel supported and heard. Working from an integrated viewpoint, I utilize trauma-informed, mindful, body-oriented, dialectical and cognitive approaches to healing. I will help you cultivate your personal growth while reaching your therapeutic goals. Please reach out for a consultation or Intake.

My treatment methods

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Utilizing Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) supports a mindful and compassionate approach to therapy while also incorporating body-oriented work. Mindfulness-Based Psychotherapy incorporates the essence of Eastern mindfulness practices into Western cognitive-behavioral practice to improve overall symptoms and promote acceptance, non-judgement, and emotional regulation.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

A Dialectical Behavioral Therapy approach to treatment supports individuals in better understanding and managing their emotions, refining their relationships and enhancing their communication skills.
