About me

My clinical background is primarily working with adults who have experienced trauma and relationship issues which present in anxiety, depression, grief/loss and other areas of concern. I pull from various modalities including psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and grief therapy. I have worked in out patient mental health facilities, on a medical team providing care to individuals with comorbid chronic illnesses, have worked in a crisis setting and now work in private practice.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I believe that it is my role, as your therapist, to create a safe and trusting space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly. My goal is to help you identify your strengths, while learning new tools and techniques to explore solutions to problems bringing you discomfort.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe that behavior is relational, meaning it is impacted by how we perceive the world. This perception is formed from what we have experienced in the past. Without this insight it can be difficult to break unwanted cycles. I appreciate everyone's unique experiences and enjoy helping individuals gain a deeper level of self insight and the tools to produce change they are looking for in their lives and relationships.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work primarily with adults navigating relational/professional challenges, healing from childhood trauma, and are looking for support in managing concerns such as anxiety, depression, OCD, and low self-esteem.
