About me

Hello! My name is Elise Nerenberg. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New Jersey and Florida. I earned a Bachelor's degree of Social Work from Penn State and a Master's degree from Fordham Graduate School of Social Service. For over 19 years, I have been working in private practice with individuals, couples and families that deal with anxiety, depression and relationship issues.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, we will spend time to get to know each other. I will review the intake process, inform you of my office policies, ask you about the reason you have come to therapy. We will work on building rapport and a strong therapeutic relationship. When you leave our first session, I want you to feel like you were seen and heard with the hope that hope that therapy will work for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths as a therapist are my authenticity, my competence and my empathetic listening. My role is to empower you to make your own best decisions and reach your full potential. I do this by meeting you where you are at, and by providing a safe, non judgmental space.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with adult and young adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety and relationship issues. My clients include individuals, couples and families. I provide a non-judgmental, safe space to enable clients to work through their difficulties, make better life decisions and reach their potentials.
