LCSW, 10 years of experience
I specialize in supporting adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by anxious thoughts, self-doubt, chronic stress, or the challenges that arise during shifts in identity and life roles. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can slow down, feel heard, and begin to explore healthier ways of coping and moving forward. My approach is collaborative and evidence-based. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support the balance between acceptance and change, and mindfulness practices to deepen self-awareness and manage stress more effectively. These tools work together to build resilience, emotional balance, and self-compassion, helping you create meaningful and lasting change in your life. The impact of therapy can be transformative. Clients often leave with greater peace of mind, stronger self-awareness, and renewed hope for the future. It’s an honor to walk alongside you in this process and support you in creating the life you want.
In our first session, you can expect a comfortable, welcoming space where the focus is on getting to know you. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, your background, and what you’d like to get out of our time together. It’s completely normal to feel nervous or unsure—starting something new can feel vulnerable—so we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you. I’ll ask some gentle questions to better understand your experiences, but there’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready for. This first session is really about beginning to build a connection and laying the foundation for our work together. Most importantly, you can expect to be listened to with care, without judgment. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful that therapy can be a safe place to help you move forward.
What makes my approach stand out is the balance of compassion and evidence-based care. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy—together, we create a plan that feels supportive, practical, and aligned with your goals. I integrate approaches like CBT, DBT, and mindfulness to help you better understand your thoughts, manage emotions, and develop tools you can use long after therapy ends. Clients often tell me that they appreciate how collaborative and safe our work feels. I prioritize truly listening, offering insights when helpful, and walking alongside you rather than leading from ahead. This creates a space where you can be yourself without fear of judgment while still receiving structured guidance to move toward lasting change. The result is often more than just relief from symptoms—it’s a deeper sense of self-awareness, confidence, and resilience that supports not only healing, but also growth in all areas of life.
I’m here to support adults who are feeling weighed down by anxiety, stress, depression, or past experiences that still feel heavy. Many of the people I work with describe feeling stuck in self-doubt, overwhelmed by constant worry, or uncertain about how to handle changes in their lives and roles. Some come to therapy looking for relief from symptoms, while others are simply searching for a safe space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with themselves. I especially enjoy working with individuals who are ready to take steps—big or small—toward growth, even if they aren’t sure exactly what that looks like yet. Together, we’ll explore your goals, whether that’s easing stress, healing from trauma, building confidence, or finding more balance in your relationships and daily life. My role is to walk alongside you with compassion, patience, and practical tools. Therapy with me is collaborative, supportive, and centered on what matters most to you.
I integrate mindfulness-based strategies with traditional psychotherapy to help clients develop effective coping skills and a deeper awareness of their nervous system and stress response. In my practice, I regularly teach clients how to use breathwork, somatic techniques, and various forms of mindfulness to regulate emotions, reduce stress, and build resilience.
