I obtained a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University. I have worked in the mental health field for over 15 years, and I spent the last five years working as a professional counselor with children, adolescents, young adults, middle aged adults, older adults, couples and families on a variety of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, grief, social anxiety, eating disorders, career counseling, parenting, relationship issues/poor communication, etc.
Life is a challenge and sometimes it is best to talk to a professional stranger. I am a LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) stranger and counseling for me is all about the relationship between the client or clients and counselor. The relationship must include respecting the client and creating a bond that is meaningful and impactful.
I specialize in telehealth counseling, and I use an integrative therapeutic approach that incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, positive psychology, person-centered, mindfulness and others. My therapeutic approach encourages and promotes healing, self-awareness, positivity and empowering oneself.

Very helpful right off the bat. From our first session, he has been supportive, and gives me ideas and techniques to improve my communication skills with others, as well as ways to better manage daily tasks and life.
