In our first session together, I focus on building rapport and getting to know each other while learning the challenges bringing you to therapy. This information can provide the necessary information to co-create a plan to improve functioning and help provide skill building to create independence and autonomy. All questions and concerns will be addressed to help you understand the therapeutic process.
Having a multi-cultural, multi-generational, bilingual background in education and counseling has equipped me with the ability to connect and build rapport to provide a client-centered approach. The relationship built leads to the ability to move through the stages of treatment to advance to improved functioning. The therapeutic process utilizes ethical guidelines and evidenced-based practices tailored uniquely to each person's needs.
I enjoy working with adults of all ages to learn new ways that may help manage behaviors that may be impairing their best functioning.

She was comfortable to talk too. She was welcoming and made me feel safe in listening and giving me affirmations to my stories. She was kind, sincere to what I had to say. I broke down, and she could read my empathy
