About me

I serve the entire state of Michigan, via video therapy. Hello! I'm a licensed mental health therapist. I received my Masters from Eastern Michigan University in 2004 and have been practicing since then. Prior to that, I worked as a social worker since 1995. I very much love what I do, helping people learn how to help themselves. I have a rich experience across the board, working in homes, community settings, hospital settings, office and on the streets with the homeless. I am skilled in treating a wide variety of mental health and substance abuse issues.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing and what you hope to get help with. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have a wide and vast experience, working with all types of mental health issues, such depression, anxiety, mood disorders, Bipolar Disorder, personality disorders, trauma, PTSD, ADHD, Autism, suicidal, substance misuse, etc. The list is long. I have been trained in multiple evidence based practices, including CBT, trauma (TF-CBT), Borderline Personality Disorder, Motivational Interviewing, etc.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with people of all ages but have mostly worked with teens and adults, including older adults. I will meet anyone where they are at in life, identify issues to work on and help them grow from there.
