About me

I specialize in symptoms of Adult and Child Anxiety and Depressive Disorders, and ADHD. I assist frustrated parents with changing child behaviors which are impacting the family in a negative way. I believe that everyone is capable of overcoming obstacles and moving toward becoming their best self. All families have challenges, and can use these challenges as opportunities to improve their relationships. Therapy is a tool that provides a safe, accepting environment in which people can begin to make the changes they need to have the life they want to live.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, we will discuss the client's wants and needs in terms of therapy, and how it can help him/her/them. I will explain my process, and we can decide if the client feels it is a 'fit' for them and their ideas of what they want to achieve through the the therapy process.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have many years of experience working with clients and helping them achieve thier goals. My greatest strengths are compassion, allowing the client to be and become their best self, and helping to facilitate long-term productive change in people's lives.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My speciality is working with children and adults who need help mastering their fears, and working on issues such as self-esteem, social skills, and grief. My ultimate goal is for individuals and families to move toward a happier and more peaceful existence by helping them find their own ability to cope with these issues.

My treatment methods

Integrative

Integrative psychotherapy emphasizes a collaborative and flexible approach to treatment, with the goal of promoting healing, growth, and empowerment for the client. One of the key principles of integrative psychotherapy is that the therapy is tailored to the unique needs, preferences, and strengths of the person. I employ a wide range of therapeutic techniques and interventions, depending on what is most appropriate for the client at the time. This includes elements of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, experiential techniques, and somatic therapy.
